Rep. Gephardt: Worrying About His Candidacy
It is good that Rep. Richard A. Gephardt (D-MO) is finally confessing that he doesn’t trust Bush, Jr. “to conduct foreign policy.” It would have been much better if he would have come clean about his reservations when that important vote came up in the House of Representatives, in October, 2002, on the pro-Iraq War Resolution. Instead, Gephardt voted then to delegate the awesome war making power to the Bush-Cheney Gang.
