Activism Opportunity Outside the White House
DAWN activists set up a weeklong, 24-hour vigil.
Activists from the D.C. Anti-War Action Network have set up an anti-war vigil and information site in Lafeyette Park right outside the White House. There they are out protesting the Iraq war while talking to tourists about the war, the Bush administration, and pro-peace beliefs.
This is a great opportunity for activists in Baltimore looking for something to do to go and show solidarity and interact with passers-by, if they so choose. I am sure DAWN activists would appreciate additional voices, people with signs, with guitars, or those just offering the moral support of numbers.
