Help Support the Baltimore Free Store - December 18
Help make the Baltimore Free Store a reality. Donate, Volunteer, Flyer.
Saturday December 18 - 10am to 4pm
All Peoples Congress - 426 East 31st Street
We will be holding a Free Store on December 18 at the All Peoples Congress located on 426 East 31st Street from 10am to 4pm. We need your help in making this day a success.
DONATIONS
We are in need of donations. We are accepting anything at this time (no furniture please), including: dishes, household items, clothes, games, kids toys, yard tools, electronics, and so on. Donations are being accepted at 6007 York Road, Apt. A by appointment only. Contact 410-340-9004 to set up a time to drop items off. Donations are also being accepted on Saturday December 18 ONLY from 8:30am to 10am at the All Peoples Congress located on 426 East 31st Street.
FLYERING
Attached you will find a flyer announcing the event and some details. We are in need of people who can go into the neighborhoods surrounding 426 East 31st Street and place a flyer on every door, as well as in other areas and community gathering locations. The sooner we can get advertising out there the better.
VOLUNTEERING
We are in need of volunteers for Saturday December 18 between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm to help set up, organize, keep things picked up and then to break down and clean up. We urgently need volunteers between the hours of 8:30am and 10am to help set up and organize. If you are available please contact 410-340-9004 with what time you will be around.
LONG TERM - COMMITTEE
If you are interested in seeing a permanent Free Store in Baltimore and would like to put some effort behind making that happen, we are in search of individuals willing to be a part of a collective decision making body. This decision making body, or committee, will be the backbone of the Free Store and make all decisions about the future direction of any such venture. Please contact 410-340-9004 if you are interested. We all have great ideas so let's share them.
Thank you, and I hope life is treating you well as the winter days creep along.
