According to recent reports from activists returning from DC, several members of the "Love Not Bombs" collective have been detained in DC. Reportedly, the group was conducting an impromtu Food Not Bombs feeding inside of parking garage in the evening after most of the marches were finished. Local DC cops disrupted the feeding, saying that the group must leave and that if everyone gave their IDs and had no warrants that there would be no arrests. However, after an hour of being detained at the scene, other police arrived on the scene and arrested most of the group. Reportedly detained at this time includes Todd Spalt, Nicole and Tim of the Love Not Bombs collective and several others. The charge so far is apparently tresspassing. More info to come as availible.
