Fallujah Operation Name Change

Did you notice that the US Military changed the operation name for it's attack on Fallujah?

The original name given to the Fallujah assault was "Operation Phantom Fury." (angry ghost).
The military thought that name would create a negative public image. So, while they circled over Fallujah with lumbering C130 planes that perform the machine-gun equivalent of carpet bombing, by shooting a large slug into every square meter of ground, they changed the name of the operation.
The new name: "Operation New Dawn"
More like "Operation Bloody, Burnt and Splintered Dawn Splattered with Feces." But what's in a name?
