Towson University will host Baltimore's first Immigration Summit, bringing together activists, organizations, and scholars. Public is welcome but need to register.
Towson University to host first Baltimore Immigration Summit
Free, one-day event to bring together area’s experts and resources
When: Friday, November 19
8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Towson University’s University Union,
located off Osler Drive
Description: This first-ever event gives attendees a chance to network and share information with representatives from immigrant and refugee organizations throughout Baltimore; learn about the organizations working on immigration issues in Baltimore; discuss specific issues facing immigrants face, and plan and organize further collaboration with organizations, activists and scholars to make Baltimore a more welcoming place for the New Americans in our midst.
Cost: Free, but space is limited and attendees are encouraged to register early. Registration deadline is November 12.
