"Our Dreams will Never Fit In Their Ballot Boxes" - Protesters swarm the streets in Baltimore...
Over the past couple of hours 60 or so people, acompanied by two DJS, took to the streets as part of an election day RECLAIM THE STREETS action in Baltimore, Maryland.
The march converged on Baltimore's Washington Monument for 45 minutes or so; DJ's spun music as people danced, played games, and did street art.
Many banners, including "Anarchy is Possible" and "Our Dreams Won't Fit in their Ballot Boxes" were unfurled.
About an hour ago police moved in, using pepper spray and mace in an attempt to disperse the crowd and arrested two people. One was tackled by a construction worker who turned the kid over to the cops.
Shortly after 4 or 5 people were arrested on the sidewalk, obstenisibly for making "too much noise."
Cops then pushed people into the park. About 10 minutes ago they started clearing out the park; currently protesters still outnumber the 20-25 cops who are on the scene...
