Pressure Local Sinclair Affiliates

Sinclair Coporate Headquarters is pressuring local affiliates to broadcast a 40-minute political attack ad in the form of a "news" item. Sinclair's Washington bureau chief, Jon Leiberman, said he was fired for his public criticism of the company's plans to produce the program. There are cracks in the Sinclair armor, and we need to hammer on them. Here's an EASY way to do it at the local level.
Cut 'n Paste these into the "bcc" section of an e-mail and ask, politely, that they have the courage to say "No" to the Sinclair Corporate Headquarters (I'm afraid you'll have to fix all the "At" signs... once you've made that effort, you'll want to share the list with your friends :-)

Please say "no" to the Sinclair headquarters request for you to pre-empt regular programming to show the Anti-Kerry program "Stolen Honor". To show this obvious attack ad would be a blatant violation of the public's trust in allowing Sinclair to have a broadcasting license.
We will be tracking who violates this trust, and contacting advertisers listed at www.stopsinclair.org This violation will not go unanswered. We hope that you will display the courage needed to resist the biased views of Sinclair's corporate headquarters.
