HLS SPEAKS AT MARYLAND BIO-CONFERENCE

On September 21 and 22nd, Dr. Howard Hill, the director of pharmaceutical
services for Huntingdon, will present at the conference entitled "GLP
BioAnalysis: Building a Lab from Inside Out"

The conference is being put on by the Cambridge Health Institute (CHI), whose
business mission is to provide forums where "experts" from both the academic and
commercial lab settings can present on current research issues. In its 13 year
history it boasts to having organized 300 such events, drawing some 40,000
attendees to "facilitate interaction with key decision-makers from leading
pharmaceuticals and biotech organizations."

The event this week is aimed at discussing the business-opportunities of the
growing number of small studies being 'in-sourced' by larger companies. For HLS,
this is a chance to beg for badly needed clients... and that's where we come in.

This event presents the opportunity to educate the conference organizer, CHI,
and all its industry magazine sponsors about the sordid and dangerous past of
HLS. We can draw attention to the scandals, the abuse, the incompetence, and the
growing business failures the lab is experiencing from animal rights activism.

PLEASE write, call, email, contact the following businesses and kindly ask them
to review the evidence posted at www.insidehls.com and to separate their
business from the industry pariah - Huntingdon Life Sciences.

Here are some key points to highlight:

- HLS has been exposed in 5 undercover investigations, 4 in the last seven
years.

- Two undercover investigations came after HLS replaced its management team with
Brian Cass and Andrew Baker.

- In 2000, the greatest amount of documents ever leaked from a lab revealed
gross incompetence on the part of HLS with regard to a xenotransplantation study
being carried out for Imutran, Novartis. The study was eventually cancelled by
the client after HLS was chastised on several occasions for fundamental lab
failures.

- This 2000 expose revealed 520 breaches of GLP principles.

- Another year 2000 expose found workers at HLS cited for being drunk on the
job, and even participating in drug use.

- Huntingdon Life Sciences is famous the world over for ghastly images of 4
month old beagle dogs being repeatedly punched in the face, and a primate being
dissected alive.

- Since the start of 2004, Huntingdon has lost a record 63 laboratory suppliers,
being left without everything from waste removal services to fire protection and
even IT services.

- Lab software company InnaPhase has announced as of September 2004 it will no
longer update the FDA required computer software to track and monitor
experiments. This software is used by 28 of the top 30 pharmaceutical companies.

- Huntingdon stands today with a staggering 85 million dollar debt that is due
in as little as 16 months, and it can only currently barely break even per year.
