11:30- Organizing 101
w/ Ryan Harvey and Matt Warfield (local organizers)
Intro to organizing basic events, shows, protests, etc. Tips for new organizers, starting a small group, building a local network, etc. Discussion possible on ideas for upcoming local and national organizing.

12:00- Video Showing
1877: Year of Uprisings (45 min.)
-A video detailing the great railroad and general strikes of July-August 1877, which we're sparked in Baltimore. To go along with the next days radical history march through Baltimore. Will be followed by a short talk about the 1877 historical walk on the 20th.

1:00- Justice for City Students!
w/ The Algebra Project
-Baltimore City Students have gotten together to fight for adequate (and deserved) funding for the public school system, and are engaged currently in a lawsuit against the State of Maryland. Learn how Maryland has withheld needed funding for the schools, and how the students decided to do something about it!

1:30- Homebrewing!
w/ Baltimore Brew not Bombs!
-Learn how to homebrew your own cider, wine, etc! There will be leaflets with the info on them to pick up as well.

2:00- Sweatshop Baseball
w/ United Workers (www.unitedworkers.org)
-Hear about the current struggle at Camden Yards. Day-laborers at Camden Yards are fighting against the Stadium Authority for a living wage and better working conditions. Members of the UWA will present their case and answer questions!

2:30- BARC (Baltimore Animal Rights Coalition)
w/ Aaron (BARC organizer)
Intro to BARC, its local successful campaigns, the FBI goons, and it's future plans.

3:00- Don't Just Vote!
w/ Don't Just Vote activists (www.dontjustvote.com)
-A presentation about why we should discuss everything BUT the vote. Democrats and Republicans historically have played catch with our freedom and it's time that we turn away from the eternal game of politics and start making changes ourselves. Will be followed by an open discussion about the issue and about upcoming actions and events!

4:00- Know Your Rights!
w/ Zachary Wolfe, DC Attorney
-Learn what your rights are when the cop approach you, and how to defend yourself legally against illegal searches and detentions. Learn
Zachary is the Founder of the People's Law Resource Center in DC, DC National Lawyers Guild Legal Observer Coordinator.
