From April 19-22 tens of thousands will converge on the nation's capitol to voice their determination to create a planet free of terror and oppression. Ordinary people will call attention to the multinational corporations that exploit people and the earth for the sake of profit, to a U.S. 'war against terrorism' resulting in thousands of unnecessary and innocent deaths, to repressive institutions like the U.S. Army's School of Assassins and the US prison system which serves to maintain the status quo.

We call on all concerned citizens and non-citizens, young and old alike, to kick-off the week of actions with a bicycle ride through D.C. With the collective power of hundreds of bikes, we can take a new vision for this world into the streets! Seize the day, seize your life and be part of a creative direct action. Bring your noisemakers, flags, chants, and energy.

*Please forward the call. The ride is only as successful as its riders.*
*We need you (and your friends and family). Bikes rule, cars drool.*

Don't have a bike or need a tune-up? Come to the Bike Library!
Where: 725 6th St. NE, Washington DC -- in the back
When: Thursdays 3-7pm & Saturday 12-4pm

The Action and Solidarity Law Collective and the National Lawyers Guild are supporting the actions that are going to take place from April 19-22, 2002.
