Set up a Benefit Show!

BACKGROUND:
From late July until late August, we will be marching from the Democratic
National Convention to the Republican National Convention. We are doing
this because we NEED to highlight the links between the ruling parties,
and stress that neight party represents at all the needs and desires of
the people of this country. We need your help in making this event happen,
and we encourage and welcome your participation in the march!

BENEFITS:
The Democracy UPrising March is in need of money to make sure the march
goes on as planned! We are requesting that folks who are interested in
helping out organize benefit shows/events in their hometowns and send the
$ our way.

We will use the $ strictly for march
organizing (food, materials, outreach, etc) and none of it will go to
individuals as payment. Please let us know if you are doing an event or
ned help getting bands, speakers, etc.

We have outreach materials as well as a video, ad depending on where
youlive, may be able to provide a member of the collective to speak about
the march.

CDs:
Also, we have a benefit CD avilable that you can help us distribute!
Please email us to purchase a CD or help distribute them in bulk! It's
full of great political acoustic music, poetry, and other surprises!
