Word-Life open mike is hosting its second open-mike of the month this Weds., June 16, at All People's Congress.
The last session, two weeks ago, was small but choice. The featured reader was a local performer who just arrived to Baltimore with a full-length monologue about touring around Baseball stadiums to games and interviewing people about politics. Part Americana, part politics, part personal ramble, the performance was excellent. Poetry and amplified guitar songs were also heard. The diverse opinion ranged from left-Democrat to far-left. . . .
Word-Life starts at 8 PM. All People's Congress is at 3231 31st, past St. Paul and near Greenmount, across from Normal's Bookstore. Musicians, writers, performers, spectators, all are welcome.
