1) PRESS CONFERENCE: Wednesday, May 26, 3 pm, outside the SuperMax (site of Maryland’s death row). Corner of Madison St. and Fallsway in
Baltimore.
2) TOWN MEETING: Wednesday, May 26, 7 pm, at Takoma Park Presbyterian Church in Takoma Park, MD
3) TOWN MEETING: Tuesday, June 1, 7 pm, at Mt. Hope Baptist Church at the corner of Reisterstown Rd and Gwynns Falls Pkwy, across the street from the Mondawmin Mall parking lot.
4) DEMONSTRATION: Saturday, June 5, meet at 2 pm at Cain Field, near the intersection of Monument St. and Harford Rd.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO JOIN THESE EVENTS:

We should use every opportunity to announce these events, post flyers, put notices on calendars (electronic or physical) or in newsletters, or distribute leaflets.
PLANNED LEAFLETING:
1) Saturday, 5/29, 9 am to noon at Waverly Farmers’ Market (31st and
Barclay, near 33rd and Greenmount)
2) Sunday, 5/30, 9 am to noon at (downtown) Baltimore Farmers’ Market
(under the Jones Falls Expwy near its end). This is a very active place
and a good place to share ideas.
3) Friday, June 4, 7 pm or 8 pm for about 2 hours at "Spice it Up!" in Mt.
Washington Village (across the Kelly Ave Bridge from Falls Road). This is
like a neighborhood fair in a small business district. The theme is jazz.
4) Please join us. Getting the word out is critical at this time. Let us
know your plans to join in leafleting. Share your ideas for outreach
(local fairs, progressive concerts, meetings, etc. Tell us if you need
help or if you have the folks to handle an event.
