Syrian Baath sponsors Al-Qaida plot to kill 80,000 in Jordan

The Jordanian authorities disrupted a major al Qaeda plot that was about to use chemical suicide- terrorist attacks against 80,000 Jordanians.

Half the members of the group were Syrians. The group got their orders and finance through the Syrian territories:
