The March for Women’s Lives is about reproductive rights and freedom for all people,. That means expanding beyond the abortion debate, beyond the typical feminist conversations, and into some radical global solidarity! The Pink Bloque to emphasize that reproductive rights is also about sterilization, health care, public education and welfare reform.
Each issue demands different tactics and we support them all! If you feel like shaking your asses for equal access, please join us at the top of the Mall near the Washington Monument between 10 and 11 am on April 25, 2004. Just look for the pink and listen for the beats. We will then teach you a few dance steps and as a group we will join the March when it kicks off at noon and dance, dance, dance!
