For more balanced commentary, let's get CounterPunch co-editor Alexander Cockburn in the Baltimore Sun.
Richard Gross, Op ed page editor for the Baltimore Sun, contacted me responding to my request to carry CounterPunch co-editor Alexander Cockburn as a columnist. He stated that he would consider it the next time the editorial staff reviews their slate of columnists.
The Baltimore Sun has done a poor job in allowing anti-war voices top be heard. Mr. Cockburn's contribution to The Sun would allow a more balanced picture of world events; Cockburn's column in The Sun would counter the myths, half truths, and pro-globalization commentary of New York Times columnist, Thomas Friedman.
