The White House agreed to "let" National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice speak to the 9-11 Commission in a public hearing under oath.
In exchange for her testimony, the 9-11 Commission will not subpoena other administration officials. Under this agreement, Ms. Rice's boss Bush and his boss Cheney will be allowed to testify in private and not under oath.
