We are pleased to announce the release of two new songs: "Chalabi" and "Teach Your Children [Pre-Emptive Empire]". Both of these songs can be downloaded in MP3 format from our new web site (tinyurl.com/2gj6j).

Background information about the two new songs follows below. Both of these are considerably more mellow than our previous offerings, but the anti-war/anti-Bush lyrics are as pointed as ever, and can be found at the following two links:

Thanks for listening, and keep up the good fight!

1. CHALABI
Music based upon "Volaré"
(© 1958 Modugno/Migliacci)

Convicted embezzler and Iraqi defector Ahmed Chalabi supplied the grateful neoconservative cabal with fanciful tales of WMD, nuclear programs, and other reasons why Saddam Hussein posed an "imminent threat" to the USA. Now that he has returned home, he has dismissed all of his yarns and proclaimed himself and his cronies to be "heroes in error". But we harbor no grudges, because Chalabi and his Iraqi National Congress are still on the US payroll! Those are your tax dollars at work.

2. TEACH YOUR CHILDREN

Music based upon "Teach Your Children"
(© 1970 Crosby/Stills/Nash/Young)

We consider the original Crosby/Stills/Nash/Young song to be anti-war, albeit subtle ("their father's hell did slowly go by"). All we did was to drag it 30 years forward... from one quagmire to another. If we can somehow influence just one person not to join the military, or to avoid the impending draft, we will chalk that up as a success. Those who view war as somehow being noble or glorious must have discovered a way to block the truth from their minds. Don't fall for the media hype, or the sanitized bylines from embedded reporters -- War is indeed Hell.
