This is a must-see film for anyone interested in globalization, and the IMF in particular. "Life & Debt," a documentary by Stephanie Black, provides a graphic case study of how the International Monetary Fund (IMF) polices cause local economies to collapse, leaving them open to exploitation by foreign land speculators and corporations.
This documentary is being presented as part of a campaign to raise awareness in anticipation of the April 22-25, 2004 protests in Washington, DC at the 60th Anniversary meetings of the IMF.
