Patch Adams, the doctor who uses zany humor and love to heal his patients is coming to Baltimore for a Dennis Kucinich Fundraiser, Friday Feb. 27th 6:30 - 9 pm at the Cork Factory Gallery, 302 E. Federal St.

Patch Adams is the celebrated physician/founder of the Gesundheit! Institute. In 1998 Universal films released a movie about his life using Robin Williams to portray Patch Adams -- a medical student who uses zany humor and love to heal his patients.
Dr Adams of Arlington, Virginia, charges no money, carries no malpractice insurance and lectures regularly at medical schools throughout the US. He has begun building a hospital and health care centre on a 320-acre farm in Pocohantas County, West Virginia to offer totally free healthcare to the community. ABOUT THE EVENT: This is a fundraiser for Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich and his Maryland delegates. Patch Adams and his partner Susan Parenti will be
providing an evening of humor and laughter. Congressman Kucinich will be calling in from California and chatting with you live.
