Organizer: Coalition against Global Exploitation
It's 10 years since the January 1994 uprising of the Zapatistas in Chiapas, Mexico protesting the introduction of NAFTA and neoliberal capitalism generally.
CAGE celebrates this event with a potluck dinner and speakers on the Zapatistas' struggle in Mexico and the recent struggles against neoliberalism in Bolivia.
Speakers:
* Jodie Zisow (Co-founder of CAGE, spent two and a half years in Chiapas working with the autonomous communities).
* Mary Harding (Experienced with the solidarity movement in Bolivia).
Location:
Progressive Action Center
