Activists unfurled large banner down Los Angeles skyscraper to protest Ford Motor Company.
LOS ANGELES (1/8/04) - Baltimore-based activist Kate Berrigan was arrested after she and Hayden Belowen unfurled a 40x60 banner which read “Ford: Holding America Hostage to Oil.”
Working with Global Exchange and Rainforest Action Network, Berrigan and her comrade
repelled down a 32-story skyscraper near the Los Angeles Auto Show to protest how Ford Motor Company helps to fuel “oil addiction” in the United States.
