An alternative still open as the police/war state moves into predictable gear is that we can still use this (the Net) and other tools to get out the word of Resistance Consciousness.
A resistance where we stop reacting without understanding to the ways of coercive institutions and their formal leaderships. A resistance where we wake up to the meta game of everyday life: Perpetual war on all fronts against all who refuse to submit.
A resistance where we make use of all the openings we can decipher--not "speaking Truth" to so-called "power" but speaking our truths to people. People (not formalized implementers of policy) are the real power, as anyone who has read serious accounts of history knows! (Read Howard Zinn, Bud and Ruth Schultz; even John Toland has lots to expose in his book on Hitler)
In this consciousness we learn that hype and propaganda don't speak nearly the depth of our own personal experiences and anecdotes. People respond beautifully when we dare to share the truths of our lives, without all the fancy-buttoned words and mystifications that have a way of tripping us all up!
We must escape the corralls of identity and dogmatic belief in which all vanguards keep us in, because such corralls only keep us all divided (without dialogue)--and conquered.
Information is key. Deep, broadly-relavant information about how broadly we, collectively, are being manipulated by the system.
I have made a flyer which I have been passing out around the country (but am way too weakly funded and can only make small numbers) in which I hope you will read (below). Do please print it out and copy it and pass it around, or add your own excellent info and add to it!
In case you didn't know…
"When I go around in America and I see the bulk of the White People, they do not feel oppressed—they feel powerless…We see the physical genocide that they are attempting to inflict upon [American Indians], and we understand the psychological genocide that they have already inflicted upon their own people…"—John Trudell, Santee-Sioux spokenword artist who lost his
entire family, including 3 young daughters, to a very suspicious fire at the height of
the 'cointelpro' era (an FBI program which
illegally attacked a huge variety of legal dissent).
