Speaker: Richard Rubenstein
Richard Rubenstein is professor of Conflict Resolution & Public Affairs at George Mason University. He is author of "Alchemists of Revolution: Terrorism in the Modern World", "Conflict Resolution & Social Justice: Essays in Honor of James H. Laue", and "Aristotle's Children: The War Between Faith & Reason in the Late Middle Ages."
This is the Second Ric Pfeffer Lecture. The late Ric Pfeffer was a founder of the Progressive Action Center and president of Research Associates Foundation. The First Ric Pfeffer Lecture was delivered by David Harvey in October 2002 speaking on "The New Imperialism."
Research Associates Foundation is organizer of the Progressive Action Center, the home of the Alternative Press Center, Baltimore Action for Justice in the Americas, Baltimore City Green Party, Baltimore Independent Media Center, Radical Philosophy Association's Cuba Conference, and Red Wagon Child Care Center.
