October 8-29:
The Baltimore-area College Tour Against the FTAA

NO FTAA Towson is helping coordinate teach-ins at area schools, including Towson, JHU, and likely Goucher, McDaniel, Dundalk and Essex community colleges (along with help from professors and organizers with The United Steel Workers of America). See www.noftaatowson.cjb.net for schedules!

October 25 (day):

ANSWER/UFPJ March against War and Occupation in DC

ANSWER and United for Peace and Justice are organizing a mass-rally against "war and occupation" in DC. Rides are leaving from both Towson and Baltimore for this. There is also a call for an "anti-capitlist bloc" at this event (wee www.dc.indymedia.org posts!
