THE 1ST PALESTINE WALKATHON IN NY/NJ AREA

AWARE, The Alliance for World Awareness of Rights and Equality, is proud to sponsor the First Annual Walkathon for Palestine. The proceeds from this year's walkathon will be donated to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (pcrf.net) in order to help Palestinian children who are in desperate need of medical care.

AWARE is looking for organizations across the country who wish to sponsor this event. In order to be a sponsor, organizations must adhere to the following points of unity:

*The End of the illegal Israeli Occupation;
*The full Right of Return of Palestinian refugees;
*Equality for Palestinians living in Israel proper;
*Support for Palestinian self-determination as it is defined by international law

*For organizations outside the tri-state area, we are hoping to provide US cities with buses for transportation to NJ. If you can assist from your city, please contact us!

Logistics:
The walkathon will begin promptly at noon followed by a BBQ.

Date: September 14, 2003
Time: Noon - 6PM
Distance of walk: 3 Miles
Donation per walker: minimum $20.00
Park: Warinanco Park- Elizabeth, NJ
A registration form will be provided for those who are interested in participating in the 3-mile walk. This form must be signed and returned in order to participate in the walk. Each person will receive an arm band at the registration table the day of event.
