ALL OUT TO OPPOSE RICHARD BARRETT IN YORK, PA!
Richard Barrett, leader of the Learned, MS based Nationalist Movement, is planning on returning to York, PA this July 4th. We are calling on all anti-racists to converge on York this Independence Day and let Barrett know his racist beliefs are not welcome in Central PA.

RICHARD BARRETT PLANS RETURN TO YORK, PA
July 4th, 2003 - 11 AM, York City Hall
Richard Barrett, leader of the Learned, MS based Nationalist Movement, is planning on returning to York, PA this July 4th. We are calling on all anti-racists to converge on York this Independence Day and let Barrett know his racist beliefs are not welcome in Central PA.
Over the past year and a half, various neo-Nazi groups have rallied in York, trying to gain a foothold for local organizing. All they have done though, is cost York residents thousands upon thousands of dollars in security costs, as each time, community members and other
anti-racists come out in force to oppose the fascist threats. When Barrett came to York in January, he was throughly embarassed by Anti-Racist Action, who infilitrated his parade and made the few Nationalist Movement supporters look like fools. And in January of
2002, several hundred community members and dedicated anti-facists physically kicked the National Alliance and World Church of the Creator out of the city.
All of these defeats should have proven to Barrett and all his racist cronies that the people of York do not want them in their town. But it hasn't made an impact yet, and this time we must send an even stronger message to these racist scum!
We are fully aware that there are many other events going on this July 4th, and that the Nationalist Movement is viewed as a joke. But we can't let Barrett rally unopposed. No community is safe while people like Barrett are allowed to rally anywhere they please. The people successfully kicked Barrett out of Morristown, NJ two years ago, and now the same must be accomplished in York.
Please come out to York, even if just for a little while, and show Barrett that he has plenty of opposition. Come and help us send a strong message to the Nationalist Movement! Let's show them why they should never come back and bother the people of York again!
Barrett is holding his rally at 11AM at City Hall. We will all be meeting outside City Hall to oppose Barrett - look for the ARA and other anti-racist banners. Please bring any noisemakers, and bullhorns so we can drown this fascist out!
