Martha Stewart "Media Gallery" Art Should Be Posted at Free Republic, or By Rush Limbaugh, Not Featured at Baltimore.indymedia

Who edits the Baltimore.indymedia gallery? BOB Ehrlich?
I don't know about anyone else, but I find the Martha Stewart "humor" in this week's media gallery an insult to what one assumes is supposed to be the spirit of Indy media....Indy media...as in ALTERNATIVE TO MAINSTREAM...as in PROGRESSIVE......as in PRO-FEMINIST....as in NONCOMMERCIAL as in ANTI-INJUSTICE

And, while we're at it, what happened to "innocent until proven guilty?" I don't notice any prison humor directed at Tommy Franks (charged for war crimes in Brussels even as I write this), Ken Lay (who has yet to even be indicted), Dick Cheney or any of the other criminals who will probably never even be indicted, but who SHOULD be behind bars, given the overwhelming evidence against (as opposed to the stretched-thin evidence against Martha, who, of course, just happens to be a liberal Democrat).

Most readers no doubt know by now that the "prison/Martha Stewart magazine cover" bit is being done to death at scores of rightwing sites. It's the sort of thing that keeps Rush Limbaugh chuckling self-righteously for days. It has also been done to death on every mainstream TV, radio, and newspaper/magazine cartoon section. It is little better than Bush Reich propaganda and more suited to Free Republic than an honest indy site. It is not only un-funny, it is ho-hum at this point. Yet Baltimore.indymedia chooses to run not one, but three Martha "prison humor" slams? With all the damned gifted artists in Baltimore, the choices for the gallery are that slim?

I notice there are have been no ENRON, WorldComm media gallery slams... What's the matter? Are we only into slamming women accused of smaller crimes?
