New infoshop/bookstore has opened up in the Shaw neighborhood of downtown Washington, DC.
BRIAN MacKENZIE INFOSHOP NOW OPEN!
The Brian MacKenzie Infoshop opened this past Monday in Washington DC!
Our goal is to exist as a resource center for local activism and the
local community.
We have a reading library, bulletin boards for event postings, and will
soon have free public internet access and an extensive section on local
resources and information on a variety of topics. The infoshop is
non-profit. It is also collectively and volunteer run.
We also sell tons of radical books and music (punk, indie, folks, spoken
word, and soon: hip-hop, electronica and more), as well as t-shirts,
stickers and similar items.
If you are a local muscian/band or writer/poet, and have a
book/zine/record/tape/CD or DIY type crafts you do, we'd love to carry
your stuff. Feel free to drop on by with a sample or email us at
