About 200 students attended teach-ins against the U.S. war on Iraq at Towson University and University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) on February 13. About 200 students attended teach-ins against the U.S. war on Iraq at Towson University and University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) on February 13 prior to the massive protests against the war in New York City and around the world.
At UMBC, Stephen Eric Bronner discussed in "Baghdad Memories" a trip to Iraq he took as part of "US Academicians against the War." Lou Cantori discussed issues of an analytical and factual nature about the claims of the Bush Administration and reviewed the historical foreign policy objectives of the U.S. in the Middle East.
