It reads,
in part: "At its most conspiratorial, the theory goes like this:
A small group of Jews (sometimes referred to, in a kind of code,
as `neoconservatives' or `neocons') decided years ago that Saddam
Hussein should be overthrown to improve Israeli security.
Evidence is contained in a memo that some of them wrote in 1996
for Israeli politician Binyamin Netanyahu. These `neocons' then
insinuated themselves into the Bush administration and seized on
9/11 as the pretext to put their plan into motion. Mr. Bush and
his top foreign-policy team -- Vice President Cheney, Secretary
of State Colin L. Powell, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld,
national security adviser Condoleezza Rice, and CIA Director
George J. Tenet -- are presumably too weak and gullible to evade
the manipulations of these Jews...."

THE BILINGUAL GERMAN-FRENCH TV STATION "ARTE" PRESENTED A
SHOW ON THE LEO STRAUSS NETWORKS, behind the push for war.
Following the outline given in the {FAZ} that same day, the
program, produced by an American named Kirk, focussed
on Wolfowitz, as the factional opponent of Powell, who,
particularly after Sept. 11, moved, with Rumsfeld, for an attack
against Iraq. Plans for preemptive war were drawn up in 1990-92,
by Wolfowitz, under Cheney, and leaked in the press. Bushw as
uncvommitted untilt he end of 2001, when he signalled a shift in
his "axis of evil" speech. The pro-war party exapnded, to include
Rice. Powell, backed by Scowcroft, pushed for the UN process
against the wished of the warmongers. The National Security
Strategy docuemnt appeared, a triumph for Wolfowitz. The question
remains: what will Bush ultimately do? (hml/mlm)

TWO FORMER CIA OFFICERS EXPOSED THE PRACTICE OF
DISINFORMATION ON THE PART OF THE WAR PARTY. Ray McGovern and
another former CIA official, who had had experiecne in Iraq,
presented internal CIA documents (not those presented by Tenet),
showing that the allegations of an Al Qaida/Saddam Hussein
connection, the charges that Iraq could develop nuclear weapons
soon, and that Iraq represents an immeidate threat, are all
garbage. They compared these documents to speeches by Bush which
said the opposite. McGovern raised the question: why have
intelligence agencies at all, if you're going to order them to
tell you what you want to hear? They reported that the shift of
intelligence operations into the Pentagon, where information was
produced to fit the bill. As an example of Goebbels-style
propaganda inside the US, the program showed clips from Fox TV,
including the statement, that "If there is a war, opponents will
have to either shut up, or be considered enemies of the state."
