We are told we must accept total surveillance and racial profiling because we must be protected from those who envy and despise us.
We need another war because we have to show everyone else the American way is the best way, the only way.
We are convinced that we need their Purple Pills, their Homeland Security, their millionaire politicans, because our knowledge of how to care for ourselves has been stolen.
And we've been taught there is nothing we can do about it but see a shrink, write our Congressmen and buy Organic.
But it's all a lie.
