Hi Max and all contacts. At the internet cafe in Amman, Jordan, waiting to get visas for Iraq. We are 4 Canadian women from Vancouver, Alan Pogue, photographer extraordinaire and a Vets for Peace brother of mine from Austin, TX, me, and we still await a Brazilian woman journalist. Uneventful flight.
I guess Phil Berrigan's soul was in the air with me. Very sad to lose him, but glad he's through the pain.
Today is Bush's first ultimatum day-we dread
announcements. as I know you all are-make lots of
noise.
Will be in touch as much as possible from Iraq.

Max-Our visas FINALLY came through this afternoon,so into Iraq tomorrow. Delighted to read about the city council, and about the Dec 10 actions all over-hope Balto's went well.
So far Bush just seems to be mouthing off but not pressing the accelerator. Hope it stays that way.
Peace, Ellen
