Subject: Nov. 2nd for Mumia!!!
Greetings friends,
Calling all concerned people, all conscious people, all angry people, all
dreamers, radicals, revolutionaries, freedom fighters, all people who want a better world: All out for Mumia, Saturday, November 2nd!!!
As the November 2nd, demonstration to FREE MUMIA ABU-JAMAL approaches, we want to remind you to bring your signs, bring your banners and bring your flags to the march.
(Bring drums too...freely available,if you don't have your own,in many dumpsters where those white, nicely-toned five-gallon white buckets are often available.)
Mumia's struggle connects many different issues and communities, from the prison state to racism and the war on communities of color and the poor, to police brutality and the death penalty, globalization and First World domination, and we want to make sure that all of these are represented. Of particular importance in these times of heightened threat of U.S. military murder abroad is the growing movement against Bush's proposed war on (invasion of) Iraq, "war on terror", war on the world. So to all engaged in anti-war and pro-civil liberties activism, please remember to bring signs and banners that represent this movement.
Saturday, November 2nd, 11:00 a.m.
City Hall, Philadelphia, PA
Demonstration in the Nation with the Largest Prison Population.
FREE MUMIA ABU-JAMAL!!
The demonstration will begin promptly with a rally where we will be serenaded by live "funk soul-hop" conscious sounds from Boja and the Insurrection, out of Boston. We will then take the streets in a massive display of support and love for our brother Mumia.
