Another winter, and with the economy on everone's minds, the poorest of the land, are trying to stay warm, and survive. In this city there is no affordable housing, and as we see an influx of the new poor, the numbers have grown of homelessness. With the freezing temperatures, the bus has ceased to take anyone to the shelter rigged up, and we know more houses can be opened up, and fixed up, from these buildings just sitting there, and many are donating their time to volunteer, but everyday a struggle. Do what you can to help the needy, in these times.
