Towson University students kicked off the new semester by holding a "Honk for a Living Wage" at the intersection of Cross-Campus Drive and York Road on Thursday afternoon. Organized by the Student Worker Alliance at Towson (SWAT), the two hour event attracted support from passing cars and attention from the University Police Department. Similar events were held on a weekly basis during the spring 2002 semester.
