Grownupism!
1Day, When I Grow Up!
So as usual, I wuz sittin’ an’ stinkin’, but for sum reason, the stinkin' part wuz not goin' so guud!?
Mosta the time, I kin jes let my mind drift an' git all kindsa ideas an' thoughts an' stuff cum, but now?
Maybe it's jes like wut sum peeple call global warmin', ona counta the wether changes, the heet frum the sun melts sum water an' dries up others, 'cludin' my stinkin'!?
Maybe, I been sittin' in the sun too much an' that's why I don't git any guud ideas while I'm sittin' here tryin' to stink?!
On the other hand, it's been kinda cool an' cloudy latly, and there's not too much sun, so I guess that's not the answer?!
Maybe it's ona counta the dragon-teechers, the dungeon skool an' my perents!
I meen, they all want me an' all the other kidz, to be doin' sumthin' alla the time!
It never let's up!
Sumtimes, I think, they're all standin' over me an' lottsa other kidz while we're sleepin' an' wisperin' stuff in our ears, so wen we wake up, they hope we know more stuff for the dungeon skool an' the dragon-teechers, an' the perents git the kredit for us kids bein' super smart!
But I wunder how long that super smart stuff lasts or if it even works?
I meen, maybe it's in one ear an' out the other - jes lastin' long enuf to make a guud impression on the dragon-teecher an' makin' our perents look like super moms an' papas!
Yeah, that's wut it is!
I meen, us kidz need more time to jes kool it an' space out in peece an' quiet, with a peanut butter-jelly sanwich in our mouths an' jelly on our hans, an' the T.V. blazin' in front of us!
Now that's reel peece an' quiet for gittin' ourselves together, after a million hours in the dungeon skool an' a stacka homework facin' us before we kin gota sleep!
I wunder if all this learnin' stuff all day an' nite, is reely guud for us kidz?
I meen, we can't stay up late, can't eat too much kandy, can't stay outside playin' too long or talkin' on the phone too long! So there's limits on a lotta stuff, so why not on forced learnin'?
We kidz needa break an' maybe we shuld git organized an' git us a union to git our rites, as comin' up peeple with rites jes like grown ups!?
Man, this is a great idea an' my stinkin' power is already back!
I jes needed sum res' an' peece an' quiet frum all this learnin' stuff!
Grownups are always talkin' 'bout how stressed they are.
OK, maybe so, but then they shuld keep all the yukky learnin' stuff to themselves an' leave us kidz to sit an' stink an' grow up without ther stress stuff!
Whew!
All this sittin' an' stinkin' is wearin' me out, so I'm gonna go to sleep now an' git rested, so I kin sit an' stink sum more tomorrow!

Erwachsensein!
Eines Tages, wenn ich erwachsen werde!
Also, wie üblich war ich am Sitz’n und Stink’n, aber aus irgend ’nem Grund, lief der Stink’n-Teil nich’ so gut?
Meistens kann ich mein’ Geist einfach schweif’n lass’n und krieg alle möglichen Ideen und Gedanken und Zeugs, aber jetz’?
Vielleicht is’ das nur die, wie einige Leute sag’n, globale Erwärmung und wenn man an die Wetteränderungen denkt, dann schmilzt die Hitze der Sonne was zu Wasser und andere Dinge trocknet sie aus, einschließlich mein Denk’n!?
Vielleicht hab ich zu lange in der Sonne gesessen, und deshalb bekomm ich keine guten Ideen, wenn ich hier sitz und vasuch zu denk’n?!
And’rerseits isses irgendwie kühl und wolkig in letzter Zeit gewes'n, und es gibt nich so viel Sonne, also glaub ich ma’, das is nich’ die Antwort?!
Vielleicht liegt’s an den Drachenlehrern, der Kerkerschule und mein’ Eltern!
Ich mein, die woll’n alle, dass ich und die and’ren Kids die ganze Zeit was tun!
Das lässt nie nach!
Manchma’ denk ich, die steh’n alle üba mir und 'ner Menge and’rer Kids, wenn wir schlaf’n, und flüstern Zeugs in uns’re Ohren, damit wir, wenn wir aufwach’n, noch mehr Kram für die Kerkerschule und die Drachenlehrer wiss’n, und die Eltern werd’n dafür gelobt, dass sie superschlaue Kinder hab’n!
Aber ich frag mich, wie lange dieser Superschlaukram anhält oder ob das übahaupt funktioniert!
Ich mein, vielleicht geht’s auch zum ein' Ohr rein und zum and’ren wieder raus - bleibt g'rade lang genug, um ’nen guten Eindruck bei den Drachenlehrern zu mach'n und uns’re Eltern seh’n aus wie Supermamas und -papas!
Genau, das isses!
Ich mein, wir Kinder brauch’n mehr Zeit, um uns einfach auszuruh’n und ins Leere zu starr'n in Ruhe und Frieden, mit ’nem Erdnussbuttergeleesandwich im Mund und Gelee in uns’rer Hand und der Fernseher in voller Lautstärke vor uns!
Genau das is’ Ruhe und Frieden, um uns zu sammeln, nach ’ner Million Stunden in der Kerkerschule und ’nem Berg voll Hausaufgaben vor uns, bevor wir ins Bett geh’n könn’!
Ich frag mich, ob dies ganze Gelerne Tag und Nacht wirklich gut für uns Kinder is'?
Ich mein, wir dürf'n nich’ lange aufbleib'n, nich’ so viel Süßigkeiten ess'n, nich’ so lange draußen spiel’n oder so lange telefonier'n! Also gib’s da Grenzen für ’ne Menge Dinge, warum nich’ für erzwungenes Lern’?
Wir Kids brauch’n ’ne Pause und vielleicht sollt’n wir uns organisier’n und ’ne Gewerkschaft für uns gründen, um unser Recht als wachsene Menschen zu fordern mit den gleichen Rechten wie Erwachsene!
Mann, das is’ ’ne großartige Idee und meine Denkkraft is’ schon wieder zurück?
Ich brauchte nur ’ne kleine Pause und Ruhe und Frieden von all diesem Lernkram!
Erwachsene red’n imma davon, wie gestresst sie sind.
Okay, vielleicht stimmt das, aber dann sollt’n sie diesen ganzen Lernkram bei sich behalt’n und uns Kinder sitz’n und stink’n und wachs’n lass’n ohne ihren Stresskram!
Puh!
Dieses ganze Sitz’n und Stink’n erschöpft mich, also geh ich jetz’ schlaf’n und ruh mich aus, damit ich morgen ’n bisschen weiter sitz’n und stink’n kann!

Grownupism!
1Day, When I Grow Up!
So as usual, I wuz sittin’ an’ stinkin’, but for sum reason, the stinkin' part wuz not goin' so guud!?
Mosta the time, I kin jes let my mind drift an' git all kindsa ideas an' thoughts an' stuff cum, but now?
Maybe it's jes like wut sum peeple call global warmin', ona counta the wether changes, the heet frum the sun melts sum water an' dries up others, 'cludin' my stinkin'!?
Maybe, I been sittin' in the sun too much an' that's why I don't git any guud ideas while I'm sittin' here tryin' to stink?!
On the other hand, it's been kinda cool an' cloudy latly, and there's not too much sun, so I guess that's not the answer?!
Maybe it's ona counta the dragon-teechers, the dungeon skool an' my perents!
I meen, they all want me an' all the other kidz, to be doin' sumthin' alla the time!
It never let's up!
Sumtimes, I think, they're all standin' over me an' lottsa other kidz while we're sleepin' an' wisperin' stuff in our ears, so wen we wake up, they hope we know more stuff for the dungeon skool an' the dragon-teechers, an' the perents git the kredit for us kids bein' super smart!
But I wunder how long that super smart stuff lasts or if it even works?
I meen, maybe it's in one ear an' out the other - jes lastin' long enuf to make a guud impression on the dragon-teecher an' makin' our perents look like super moms an' papas!
Yeah, that's wut it is!
I meen, us kidz need more time to jes kool it an' space out in peece an' quiet, with a peanut butter-jelly sanwich in our mouths an' jelly on our hans, an' the T.V. blazin' in front of us!
Now that's reel peece an' quiet for gittin' ourselves together, after a million hours in the dungeon skool an' a stacka homework facin' us before we kin gota sleep!
I wunder if all this learnin' stuff all day an' nite, is reely guud for us kidz?
I meen, we can't stay up late, can't eat too much kandy, can't stay outside playin' too long or talkin' on the phone too long! So there's limits on a lotta stuff, so why not on forced learnin'?
We kidz needa break an' maybe we shuld git organized an' git us a union to git our rites, as comin' up peeple with rites jes like grown ups!?
Man, this is a great idea an' my stinkin' power is already back!
I jes needed sum res' an' peece an' quiet frum all this learnin' stuff!
Grownups are always talkin' 'bout how stressed they are.
OK, maybe so, but then they shuld keep all the yukky learnin' stuff to themselves an' leave us kidz to sit an' stink an' grow up without ther stress stuff!
Whew!
All this sittin' an' stinkin' is wearin' me out, so I'm gonna go to sleep now an' git rested, so I kin sit an' stink sum more tomorrow!

Erwachsensein!
Eines Tages, wenn ich erwachsen werde!
Also, wie üblich war ich am Sitz’n und Stink’n, aber aus irgend ’nem Grund, lief der Stink’n-Teil nich’ so gut?
Meistens kann ich mein’ Geist einfach schweif’n lass’n und krieg alle möglichen Ideen und Gedanken und Zeugs, aber jetz’?
Vielleicht is’ das nur die, wie einige Leute sag’n, globale Erwärmung und wenn man an die Wetteränderungen denkt, dann schmilzt die Hitze der Sonne was zu Wasser und andere Dinge trocknet sie aus, einschließlich mein Denk’n!?
Vielleicht hab ich zu lange in der Sonne gesessen, und deshalb bekomm ich keine guten Ideen, wenn ich hier sitz und vasuch zu denk’n?!
And’rerseits isses irgendwie kühl und wolkig in letzter Zeit gewes'n, und es gibt nich so viel Sonne, also glaub ich ma’, das is nich’ die Antwort?!
Vielleicht liegt’s an den Drachenlehrern, der Kerkerschule und mein’ Eltern!
Ich mein, die woll’n alle, dass ich und die and’ren Kids die ganze Zeit was tun!
Das lässt nie nach!
Manchma’ denk ich, die steh’n alle üba mir und 'ner Menge and’rer Kids, wenn wir schlaf’n, und flüstern Zeugs in uns’re Ohren, damit wir, wenn wir aufwach’n, noch mehr Kram für die Kerkerschule und die Drachenlehrer wiss’n, und die Eltern werd’n dafür gelobt, dass sie superschlaue Kinder hab’n!
Aber ich frag mich, wie lange dieser Superschlaukram anhält oder ob das übahaupt funktioniert!
Ich mein, vielleicht geht’s auch zum ein' Ohr rein und zum and’ren wieder raus - bleibt g'rade lang genug, um ’nen guten Eindruck bei den Drachenlehrern zu mach'n und uns’re Eltern seh’n aus wie Supermamas und -papas!
Genau, das isses!
Ich mein, wir Kinder brauch’n mehr Zeit, um uns einfach auszuruh’n und ins Leere zu starr'n in Ruhe und Frieden, mit ’nem Erdnussbuttergeleesandwich im Mund und Gelee in uns’rer Hand und der Fernseher in voller Lautstärke vor uns!
Genau das is’ Ruhe und Frieden, um uns zu sammeln, nach ’ner Million Stunden in der Kerkerschule und ’nem Berg voll Hausaufgaben vor uns, bevor wir ins Bett geh’n könn’!
Ich frag mich, ob dies ganze Gelerne Tag und Nacht wirklich gut für uns Kinder is'?
Ich mein, wir dürf'n nich’ lange aufbleib'n, nich’ so viel Süßigkeiten ess'n, nich’ so lange draußen spiel’n oder so lange telefonier'n! Also gib’s da Grenzen für ’ne Menge Dinge, warum nich’ für erzwungenes Lern’?
Wir Kids brauch’n ’ne Pause und vielleicht sollt’n wir uns organisier’n und ’ne Gewerkschaft für uns gründen, um unser Recht als wachsene Menschen zu fordern mit den gleichen Rechten wie Erwachsene!
Mann, das is’ ’ne großartige Idee und meine Denkkraft is’ schon wieder zurück?
Ich brauchte nur ’ne kleine Pause und Ruhe und Frieden von all diesem Lernkram!
Erwachsene red’n imma davon, wie gestresst sie sind.
Okay, vielleicht stimmt das, aber dann sollt’n sie diesen ganzen Lernkram bei sich behalt’n und uns Kinder sitz’n und stink’n und wachs’n lass’n ohne ihren Stresskram!
Puh!
Dieses ganze Sitz’n und Stink’n erschöpft mich, also geh ich jetz’ schlaf’n und ruh mich aus, damit ich morgen ’n bisschen weiter sitz’n und stink’n kann!
