Following on the unprovoked police attack on immigrants and their supporters in Los Angeles' MacArthur Park after the demonstration on May 1st — in which riot cops beat, gassed, and shot rubber bullets at women, children, the elderly, and the press (including Fox News!) — and in a context of increased repression aimed at cutting down the millions-strong movement for amnesty and legalization for those without papers, about 30 people turned out this afternoon (5/7) for a rush-hour rally near the I.C.E. (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) Building in downtown Baltimore.
