An incredibly astute view by Mr. Jatras shows what the collective mind of the UN Security council fails to find with all the troops, means and money. Stupid or just bribed?
I challenged myself to find the degree of stupidity in the past. It would have to be a real massive stupidity in order to understand why the present push to amputate present day Serbia’s Kosovo will inevitably lead to more agony and less solution.
Let’s look at history in huge leaps of every 2000 years or so.
During the rule of Phillip of Macedon, The Persians kept up strong efforts with neighboring city states of Athens and Thebe in order to destabilize Macedonia dominance over present day Greece. It backfired in a major way. Phillip and his teenage son Alexander spanked the joint Athens/Theban army at Battle of Chaeronea on August 2nd 338BC. Alexander went on to conquer all of Persia and the extent of this Persian mistake remains immeasurable, as much as it was stupid and unsurpassed in following years.
As World War I ended, the brains of Europe were determined to assure a “long lasting peace” on the Continent. Stage right enters the Treaty of Versailles with a pointed tail, hoofs, trident and a pair of horns. Germany gets humiliated, reduced to a powerless observer of French dominance, while Alsace-Lorraine, after a short independence becomes French. During this war there was a soldier on the German side, his first name was Adolf. This injustice was later repaid in unimaginable proportions with the onset of WWII and Adolf’s retaliation.
These two examples should be just enough to realize that even the best intentions (providing they exist) can turn out with most unimaginable disasters. The “assurances” given to Serbia in return for the amputation of Kosovo are as worthless as the UNSC resolution 1244 which is now being re-worded to say what it was not meant to say.
Within this unimaginable stupidity, Kosovo will be turned over to some of the world’s most prominent criminals (Agim Ceku, Ramus Haradinaj and Hasim Thaci) who all participated in the well documented crimes against many of the local residents including their own Kosovo Albanians.
The decision to partition Serbia has always been viewed (same as today) as influenced by the West’s need for more direct trade routes, use of the river Danube, access to the Middle East from European soil, a good launching pad for anything in Central and Eastern Europe and so many more geo-political factors which all stand an equal chance of being the driving force behind this demonic act. There is not one single iota of benefit to the local Albanian population – those hardly even exist. Today’s Albanians in Kosovo mainly came in escaping from Albania proper into the Serbian territory which offered them greater freedoms and greater protections – now the houseguest is getting rid of the host.
In my many attempts to chronicle and document the ongoing atrocity, I found endless sources that are belittling Serbian importance, influence, tradition and rights.
Yesterday I found one single article written with an uncommon objectivity, broad knowledge and farsightedness that exceeds the feeble brain ability or the corrupt views of present day dope dealers and their sponsors advocating the legitimacy of the crime about to be committed in the name of prosperity and better inter-European relations. This time Germany regains a little of what it lost in WW2.
