The latest issue of War Times (
www.war-times.org) comes off the press this Wednesday, August 28.
War Times #5 is a special issue reflecting the first anniversary of the
September 11 attacks. Features include:
* Excerpts from a recent speech by Julian Bond
* Interviews with members of Families for Peaceful Tomorrow. These are folks who
reject more violence as a memorial to the people they lost in the 9/11 attacks
* A timeline of post-9/11 damage to civil rights in the United States
* A map of U.S. military deployments in the post-9/11 world
* A round-up of anti-war activities around the country
We can get you copies of the latest issue in time for 9/11 commemorations in
your area - but only if you contact us by this Tuesday, August 27. Send email to
distribution-AT-war-times.org. Tell us your name, your mailing address, and how
many copies you need. (You can still ask for copies after Tuesday, but we won't
be able to get them to you in time for you to use at your local 9/11
activities.)
As always, it's your financial support that keeps War Times going. Please take a
