WHAT: “The Road to Guantanamo” -- Film screening and discussion
Since 9/11 there has been a tension between national security and the need to preserve fundamental privacy protections, the rule of law, and our system of checks and balances. The acclaimed film “The Road to Guantanamo” tracks the true story of three British citizens of Pakistani descent, captured in Afghanistan in 2001, and detained without trial at Guantánamo Bay by the US government.
