Action Alert: Support Anti-FTA demo in Washington Now!

What: Come out now and support the Anti-FTA demo - Bring signs, placards, noisemakers

Right now, more than 100 protesters are surrounding the Washington Court Hotel, where the 7th and final round of negotiations of the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement are being held. Some of the activists are maintaining a 24-hour vigil, which began last night night (Sunday) at 6 pm.

A small group of protesters is currently blocking the entrance to the hotel and plans to stay there. Others are rallying in support, and they are asking anyone who can to join them as soon as possible today, or any time this week.

This rally is organized by the Korean Alliance Against Korea-US FTA (KoA), a South Korean Coalition of 280 organizations, and Korean Americans Against War and Neoliberalism (KAWAN), a U.S. coalition of progressive U.S.-based Korean organizations, and endorsed by nearly 100 organizations across the U.S.
