they are doing it to try to prevent violence against themselves, and to try to convince the people waking up that its just normal activity -- and also precondition people to accept the inevitable israeli victory next election as has been done for the last 7 years +

many in the military know now though that bush is mole for foreign powers, and the military are the ones who are going to have to take out the corrupt politicians, so we are waiting on them and their leaders to get their shit together -- but most of our military is out of the country! That might explain the bush rationale little better eh? get bush in the head.
