Tonight(Friday 10/20), at Red Emma's, 800 St. Paul St., director Raphael Lyon will be screeing "i", the first documentary to deal with the global media activist network that is indymedia. The film is free, and starts at 8PM.
The film concentrates on the experiences of the Argentinia Indymedia collective as they became social protagonists in the struggles and experiments following the 2002 financial collapse, but uses this micro-level to think about global networks and countermedia counterpower strategies.
