DC's Donkey Questions Ashcroft's Veracity
The donkeys are picking on Ashcroft again.
Washington, D.C.'s "party animals" art project is beginning to take on a protest life of its own. Signs and banners are appearing on these sculptured animals with messages of protest, hope, humor, and much disagreement with the questionably constitutional acts of the national government.
This donkey questions the veracity of the U.S. Attorney General. For as long as his protest lasts, this donkey can be found at the corner of 17th and L Streets, N.W. in downtown Washington.
