(very funny black comedy that's very well directed. I had no idea that David Warner and Vanessa Redgrave looked like this in the mid-1960s. Redgrave is particularly ravishing. I'd lose (what's left of) my mind trying to stay married to her too!

Warner plays a Communist who is married to the more bourgeoisie Redgrave. Redgrave wants to marry Charles, a capitalist pig. There's social commentary here besides the romantic situations.

Look for Irene Handl's funny turn as Warner's Communist Mum.

very few comedies survive the test of time. even fewer are funny from start to finish. "Morgan" will come as a surprise for those who think they've seen it all.
