Summit Demonstrations are OUT. ''Social Forums'' are DEAD.
Argues that in the era of rigged elections, embedded protests and embedded media the anticapitalist movement mustradically innovate its tactics.
The ''Black Bloc'' is DEAD. Summit demonstrations and ''Social Forums'' are OUT. Electoral activity is POINTLESS. Anticapitalist activists must break with the routines of Left-Centrism and realise that the only hope for progress against capitalism is in the emergence and victory of social movements against capital. Only then will spaces be openned that could allow for the credible proposition of a democratically managed Libertarian Socialism as an alternative to the market dictatorship. Historically, all social progress in the direction of political and economic democracy have come from gains achieved by social struggle. It is when social movements deflate or retreat that capitalism is able to make advances. This iswhy today we are faced with a grim reality of social cuts, police repression, and proliferation of war; because no significant numbers of ordinary people are movilising against these effects of capitalism in general, and of capitalism - as their source - in particular.
