Fidel and Cuban 5 Exchange Messages
Cuban President Fidel Castro exchanged Sunday messages with the five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters unfairly imprisoned in US and assured that the injustice committed against them will be defeated.

Cuban President Fidel Castro exchanged Sunday messages with the five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters unfairly imprisoned in US and assured that the injustice committed against them will be defeated.
The Cuban head of State received letters from
Antonio Guerrero, Ramon LabaƱino, Rene Gonzalez and Fernando Gonzalez, four of the five prisoners, as well as from their relatives congratulating him for his 80th birthday and ratifying their decision to continue fighting.
You, Fidel, is for us not only a leader, but also a virtue and maximum pride, and will be always in the front row, said LabaƱino in his letter.
Guerrero, who accompanied his message with a sonnet dedicated to the head of State for his birthday, reasserted on behalf of his fellow countrymen that they will never let the Revolution down nor the confidence the statesman and the Cuban people have pinned on them.
Rene Gonzalez stated that he will be always pride of being a son of this people and history that gave a name as important as Fidel Castro.
Fernando Gonzalez, from the Wisconsin Federal Reformatory Center, expressed that those enemies of hope represented by Cuba for the world try in vain of damaging the president's giant moral stature.
The Cuban Five relatives said that they will continue defending the Revolution's conquers as Antonio, Ramon, Rene, Gerardo and Fernando have dome from their jails.
Fidel Castro's message dates August 13 and was accompanied by another one, addressed to Rene Gonzalez, to whom he also congratulated him in occasion of birthday.
Rene, Antonio, Gerardo, Fernando, Ramon: We shall overcome the monstrous injustice!, he stated.
