Baltimore County resident Adam Reuter will be releasing a documentary that counters Michael Moore's "Bowling for Columbine" and "Fahrenheit 9/11".
For the past two years Baltimore County resident Adam Reuter has been working on his documentary titled, "6 Degrees from Truth: Michael Moore." He has recently completed it, and is now ready to announce it to the world.
In the 67-minute piece, with the help of Moore's "Wacko Attackos", he debunks scenes from "Bowling for Columbine" and "Fahrenheit 9/11"--two of the highest grossing documentary films of all time. Giving Moore's films the proper context--by actually using clips from his films--is what sets this movie apart from others like it. The "6 Degrees from Truth" series has set out to give the complete story...so that viewers can make up their own minds.
Reuter says that he "avoided opinion as much as possible," so that critics would only look foolish when trying to argue against fact. He sees this documentary as less of a political film and more of one that retracts items made in two of the most famous documentaries.
The documentary is set for a late-August/September release date. Pre-orders are being accepted at the film's website,
www.6DFT.com. The movie will also be available for download directly from the site at a later date.
Adam is currently seeking press coverage to promote his film. "Without the help of the press, it's like you don't exist," he laments.
